Movie Synopsis
Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a 2001 Bollywood movie directed by the successful pair Abbas-Mustan. It stars Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta. Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is possibly the first Bollywood movie to handle the taboo issue of surrogate childbirth. Many of the scenes in the film have been borrowed from Pretty Woman and the movie is considered a remake of Doosri Dulhan by Lekh Tandon. In 2001, the CBI seized prints of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, after it was discovered the movie was funded by the Mumbai underworld, which has resulted in a well publicised controversy known as The Bharat Shah Case.
